My site is located on the rocky cliff of Uttan, where I observed exposed basalt rock formations. I got curious about crevices that form in the rock and what they are allowing on site ? first i noticed was  these natural cracks in the rock that were allowing vegetation to grow. Seeing small plants and grasses emerging from such minimal soil really made me curious about how life finds its way into these harsh surfaces.

That curiosity became the starting point of my project then I started wondering how humans could also inhabit in these crevices, just like the vegetation does. As I began studying the site, I realized it’s formed by a series of levels, and between these levels, there are deeper and wider crevices that create a sense of hidden space.
